General FAQ
  • What is LRC's working hours?LRC is open from 8.00 am to 2.00 am (Hyderabad); 8.00 am to 2.00 am (Mohali) and extended till 4.00am during the exams.
  • How do I access the library site?You can access the library site through http:\\library
  • Can my Spouse/Children use the LRC?Yes, the spouse/children can access the library, but can borrow the books only by producing the student's ID card or Spouse ID card.
  • What other library in Hyderabad can I use?LRC has a formal institutional membership with British Library and University of Hyderabad; You can get the membership card issued at the LRC circulation counter.
  • Are there any guidelines/Policies on Library Usage?You can find the various guidelines/policies at LRC Policies.
  • Where should I mail my reference query?You can send any of your queries to Learning Resource Centre (lrc_hyd@isb.edu - Hyderabad); (lrc_moh@isb.edu - Mohali). 
  • Can I photocopy a book?You can photocopy of the reading materials as per the fair use of copyright policy for your personal use.
Circulation FAQ
  • How can I access the Library Catalogue?You can access the library catalogue online through OPAC
  • How can I borrow a resource?Browse the LRC Circulation Policy.
  • Where can I return a book?You can return at any of the counters at LRC. 
  • How Can I renew a book?You can renew a book through the OPAC, or through email to Learning Resource Centre. 
  • How Can I access my account online?You can login into patron access at OPAC
  • Which resources I cannot borrow?The resources like current and immediate next term books, current journals, case studies, and reference material. 
  • How do I reserve a book/DVD?You can reserve a book/DVD only if its checked out; the same can reserved through the OPAC, or through email to Learning Resource Centre (lrc_hyd@isb.edu - Hyderabad); (lrc_moh@isb.edu - Mohali) / over phone to 7999/7963 (Hyderabad); 1781 (Mohali).

  • What are the term books?Term Books are the required and recommended reading suggested by a faculty for a particular term. The copies of the same will be made available at LRC for reference. 
  • How can I suggest a book?Suggestion form is available at all the counter of LRC, and you can also suggest online through forms.


  • Does the LRC have fiction (or "Light Reading" Books)?We do have Light reading books such as Calvin & Hobbes/Asterix/Tin Tin and many other novels and fictions.

  • Where can I find the back issues of Journals?The back issues of the journals are available at Level-IV of LRC (Hyderabad); AC2 Acaemic Quad (Mohali). 
  • How do I access the journal online?Online Journals can be accessed through the LRC site from the below link Journals

  • How do I access Infowatch?Go to Info Watch and key in the username as 61310XXX and Password as "password". Incase if you have any access problem email to Learning Resource Centre.
  • What is Case DataBank?
    Case DataBank is an innovative product created for users to browse the case studies available in print resources such as books, etc.
