CUCET 2019: Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates, Syllabus

CUCET 2019 Application Form will be Releasing on 13th March 2019. CUCET 2019 (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) will be organized by the eleven central universities. CUCET is offered by the central universities across the country and its a combined entrance test organized for providing admission into various UG, PG & other courses.

CUCET 2019 Exam Date has been Announced now. The Exam will be Held on 25th May to 26th May 2019.  Through these candidates can get admission in central universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Jammu, Karnataka, South Bihar, Kerala, and Rajasthan. It is a national level examination which is conducted once in every year. This entrance test is conducted to offer admission into under Graduate and post Graduate courses. Admission is provided into B.Tech, B.Sc, Integrated B.Sc, M.Sc, M.A, etc. courses.

Application Fee:

All candidates are advised to keep printed copies of filled application form. Payment can be made through online as well as through offline mode. Once it is paid, it will be not refunded back to any candidate.

·         The fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch.

·         GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank.

·         The PwD candidates are exempted from application fee.

CUCET 2019 Eligibility

Candidates must check full CUCET 2019 eligibility criteria, check whether you fulfill all criteria or not. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of applying in UG, PG, Integrated, and Ph.D&M.Phil courses. To appear in exam and admission candidates should be eligible to apply.

Here, we have mentioned the basic eligibility criteria to apply in UG, PG, Integrated, and Ph.D&M.Phil courses.

• Nationality: Candidate should belong to Indian national.
• UG Courses/ Integrated Courses: For any of the offered UG course, the candidate should pass the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.
• PG Courses: Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline in which they want to get admission from a recognized university/institution.
• D/M.Phil Courses: One should have the master’s degree with any specialization.
• Appearing Candidates: Final year graduates can also apply.

How to Fill CUCET 2019 Application Form

Below candidates can check the step-by-step procedure to fill the application form.

Step-1: Registration

• Visit the official website link (link above).
  Click the “Apply” tab in the main menu of the website.
  Click the Apply button to access the UG, PG, and RP link registration.

Step-2: Selecting a Course

• Read the items you need to be ready for before filling the application form.
• Click on any one of the links given for various courses as per your choice.

Step-3: Confirmation of Registration

• The registration page will be opened according to the selection course.
• Fill in the details such as the names of the candidates, the e-mail address, the date of birth and the mobile number and choose the password according to you.
• Click the “Save and Continue” button.
• After successful registration, the candidate will receive an e-mail and a message on their registered e-mail or mobile number.

Step-4: Registration Details

• Complete the registration details.
• Here, candidates must complete their personal details, details of the qualifying exam (10 + 2), details if they are already studying at another university, the correspondence address and the exam center.
• After completing all the required details, applicants must read the statement.
• Mark “I agree”, enter the verification code and click “Save and continue”.

Step-5: Uploading of Images

• In this step, candidates have to upload their photograph and signature.
• Select file by click on ‘Choose File’ button.
• Upload the scanned photograph & signature of size between 10KB to 50KB.
• The dimensions should be Photograoh (200 x 230 pixels) & signature ( 140 x 60 pixels).
• Enter the verification code and click on ‘Upload images & Proceed’.

Step-6: University & Course

• Now, candidates have to select the university and course as per their choice.
• Candidates can select up to three universities with their courses.
• Enter university code and course and click on ‘Save & Proceed’ button.

Step-7: Edit Application Form

• In this step, candidates can edit their filled-in application form.
• Check all details carefully which you have provided in each step given above.
• If you want to edit it then click on ‘Edit Application’ or if not then click on ‘Submit & Make Payment’ button.

Step-8: Payment

• Click on “Send and Pay” to pay the application fee.
• Select one of the payment options, enter the verification code and click on “Make a payment”.

Step-9: Application Form View

In this section, applicants can see their application form and can check the payment status.
After sending all the information successfully, take the printed copy of it.

2. All candidates have to apply ONLINE

3. Applicants are required to have a valid email id and mobile number before applying online. On successfull completion of initial online registration, a password is automatically generated and sent to the registered email ID. The applicant can login using email ID and Password generated to continue online Registration Process.

4. The Online application process requires the Basic details, Personal details, Academic details and Option/Course details.

5. Applicants should have scanned images of their Passport sized photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format for Online registration.

Permissible file size and formats :

Photograph- allowed size less than 500KB, formats -. jpg,jpeg 

Only passport size photos are allowed, others will be treated as incompleted applications.

6. The application fee of Rs 500/- has to be paid online.

7. Online Admit Card : Candidates will be intimated regarding the admit card for the online Admission Test via email and are requested to download Admit Card through the website few days before the Test. IIITM-K will not send separate admit cards by post or courier to the candidates.

8.Students with valid GATE score are exempted from the entrance exam. The cut off for GATE score will be decided by the institute. Students who qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) are exemped from entrance exam (for M.Phil Admission only)

9.Rank list will be published in the  website and will be intimated through email/SMS.

10. All the announcements/updates regarding the admission will be published in the website

CANDIDATE SHOULD NOTE THAT THEIR CANDIDATURE IS PURELY PROVISIONAL. At any stage of admission process, if it is found that the candidates included in the rank list or candidates admitted to a programme does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the particular programme or if any information furnished by the candidate is found to be false at any stage of verification their candidature or the admission offered will be immediately forfeited.

Applications for Summer Internship Programme 2019

IISER Pune invites applications from research oriented students to participate in its Summer Student Programme, 2019. Successful applicants will have an opportunity to participate in the research programmes of IISER Pune faculty. Research activities in IISER Pune span both theory and experiment in biology, chemistry, earth and climate science, humanities and social sciences, mathematics and physics with a strong focus on interdisciplinary research. These summer projects are also an opportunity for students to evaluate the suitability of various programmes at IISER Pune (Integrated PhD and PhD) for future career choice.

Please note: 

• This application form is meant for students of educational institutions other than IISER Pune.
• Summer projects selected through the Indian Academy of Science will not have to go through this registration process.
