1) Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad

CSIR-CCMB accepts applications from candidates pursuing M.Sc / M.Pharm/ M.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Tech in any branch of Life sciences to undertake research training towards partial fulfillment of their degree.

2) National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi

The Institute provides opportunities for outstanding students to carry out project work under the supervision of the Institute’s scientists towards partial fulfillment of their postgraduate degrees (of at least SIX months’ duration; session I: July-December; session II: January-June)

3) National Centre for Cell Science Complex, Pune

NCCS invites applications from eligible Indian National candidates pursuing M.Sc. and integrated M.Sc./M.Tech degree program (those who have completed at least three years) in any branch of sciences to undertake Project Training as a part of their dissertation work/ course curriculum at this NCCS Pune.

4) National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Hyderabad

NIAB provides opportunities for outstanding students to carry out project work under the supervision of the Institute’s scientists towards partial fulfillment of their undergraduate/postgraduate degrees (of at least SIX months’ duration; session I: January-June; Session II: July -December).

5) Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative, Bangalore

The training program at inStem is open to interested and motivated pre-doctoral candidates and usually comprises M.Sc. students between their first and second years. Many students also do their master’s projects here. Engineering and medical students are also encouraged to apply. Applications are accepted all through the year.

6) Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Trivandrum

RGCB permits students at the MSc, Btech, M.Phil and M.Tech levels to carry out dissertation and project work in various disciplines. Projects and dissertations may be for 1 month, 2-3 months, 4-6 months or 7-12 months. A service fee is charged from trainees to cover the costs of the training.

7) CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata

Eligible students pursuing P.G. Courses (M.Sc/M.Pharm/MTech) from any recognized Indian University/College in the relevant area may submit their application to be considered for pursuing their training at CSIR-IICB.

8) ICAR- National Research Center on Plant Biotechnology

The project work-training of five to six months will be offered to students doing M.Sc/ M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or Life Science disciplines, and B.Tech (Biotech/Bioinformatics) degree programmes.
The training aims at providing an opportunity for carrying out research in Plant Biotechnology and Genomics. Application in the prescribed format with detailed biodata and relevant documents from prospective candidates will be received around the year and the students selected by a selection committee will be informed accordingly by e-mail.

9) Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad

RCB invites applications for their 6-months summer training programme without stipend. Students from 4-year courses/PG in Sciences are invited to carry out their project work which will count towards the partial fulfillment of their degree. The project work can be extended to 1-year of duration depending on vacancies available.

Current students in their final semester for dissertation project (Bachelors/Masters) can apply. About NIREH

National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH), Bhopal, is one of the permanent institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a Government of India’s apex autonomous organization for bio-medical research in the country.

Aim of NIREH

To understand the mechanisms of chemical-induced injury through basic, clinical, translational and community research and to develop diagnostic and therapeutic tools to chemical threat agents incliding toxic industrial and agricultural chemicals,toxins and other chemicals.

The Summer Training Programme in Environmental Biotechnology is two weeks long handson training course offered by the ICMR-National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (ICMR-NIREH), Bhopal. Call for Application
IIIT-B is announcing its 2019 Summer Research Internship Program (2019-SRIP@IIIT-B). The program is designed to stimulate undergraduate and masters students to undergo research projects under supervision of IIIT-B faculty. The duration of the internship is 8 weeks, between 1st May to 31st July. The internship is available to external candidates only, from any Indian University/ Institute. The deadline for application is 20th April 2019. The internship is paid, and accommodation and food will be provided at the IIIT-B student hostel. Please note that the accommodation is available only for the period between 13th May to 30th June.
Eligibility Criteria: Students pursuing a Bachelor’s (2nd year and 3rd year) and Master’s degree program are eligible to apply.
Application process: Interested students can apply from following
The application includes: (i) a cover letter summarising the application (including research interests), (ii) recent CV (including name as per 12th grade mark sheet or government-issued photo-identification document, postal address, contact mobile number) (iii) a copy of photo ID (proof for name given in CV).
Selection Process: The faculty members of IIIT-B will review the submitted candidates’ applications. In case a faculty member identifies a suitable candidate, they will inform the 2019- SRIP@IIIT-B Committee, and upon completion of the admission process, the selected interns will be intimated.
