AIIMS MBBS-Registration, Exam, Syllabus,Result

All India Institute of Medical Sciences has invited online applications for AIMS MBBS entrance examination. From this year exam in 2019, Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) has been started. The step has been initiated with the view of avoiding improper filling of applications and confirming accepted applications. This facility enables the applicants to make corrections and confirm it as it is a two stage registration process.

Basic Registration

The first stage is Basic Registration. It is an enduring process where the students who are appearing or have appeared for exam can apply online. The applicants will be informed whether their application is accepted or not and the accepted will be provided with a Unique Identification Number for further procedure. The rejected applicants will become ineligible. Since this procedure starts 6 months well in advance, certain details that can't be entered early can be added at the time of second stage of registration process. The details once entered during Basic Registration process would be stored.This Basic Registration is completely free of cost.

Final Stage of Registration

The second stage is Final stage of Registration. This specific stage provides a chance to complete data information like choosing exam centre, payment of fee etc. Already given data in Basic Registration need not be repeated here.

The applicants after doing Basic Registration can decide whether they should appear for this year exam or not. If they are not willing to appear, they need not go for the next stage which can be done later as final registration details entry for subsequent entrance exam is made every time. The applicants whose applications are complete in all respects and accepted at Basic Stage only will be permitted to make Final Registration.

Qualification for Basic Registration 

Plus Two passed/appeared/appearing or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

Course Eligibility

An aggregate of 60% of marks . For SC & ST 50% of marks, for OPH 45% of marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Plus Two exam and should fulfill other eligibility criteria as required in online Basic Registration.

Exam Schedule

The computer based exam will be conducted on 25th & 26th of May 2019. The timings of first and second shift for each day is from 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m and 3 p.m to 6.30 p.m respectively. The exam will be conducted in different cities in the country.

The AIIMS MBBS syllabus will cover 10+2(Plus Two) level Physics, Chemistry, Biology,GK and Aptitude & Logical thinking. The patter of the question paper is given below

State level Free Model Entrance Exam for Engineering & Medical

Silverbullet, an online portal of The Mathrubhumi is conducting a model entrance exam for the 12th Standard students(State,CBSE,ICSE) and repeaters. It is provided completely free of cost. The KEAM and NEET exam model is followed in the conduct of this exam.

Method of exam

The engineering entrance examination will be conducted in such a way as that of KEAM (Kerala Engg). There would be 2 question papers. The first one would comprise of 72 questions from Physics and 48 from Chemistry. The second paper would carry 120 questions from Mathematics subject. Each paper is of 2 ½ hour duration.

NEET ( Medical entrance ) model is adopted in the medical entrance exam. There would be one paper only. Questions from Physics. Chemistry, Botany and Zoology can be found. 45 questions will be there from each subject. The exam duration is 3 hours.

Date of exam

The students can appear for this free model entrance exam at any time and on any day between 1st and 31st of December 2018 with a personal computer or laptop or tablet or smart phone. As it is an online exam, an internet connection is required.

The results of the exam will be declared after 15th of January 2019. The score obtained in each subject and all Kerala ranking will be published along with the results. Hence , it would be helpful for the students to know their merits and defects so as to make their exam preparation more healthier and fruitful one.

There is no doubt that, this is a good opportunity for the students who are to appear for the entrance exam and for those who don’t have any special coaching. Those who are to write the exam in 2019, can compare their present performance with that of their peer group to understand their present or possible rank status.
