AIIMS MBBS-Registration, Exam, Syllabus,Result

All India Institute of Medical Sciences has invited online applications for AIMS MBBS entrance examination. From this year exam in 2019, Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) has been started. The step has been initiated with the view of avoiding improper filling of applications and confirming accepted applications. This facility enables the applicants to make corrections and confirm it as it is a two stage registration process.

Basic Registration

The first stage is Basic Registration. It is an enduring process where the students who are appearing or have appeared for exam can apply online. The applicants will be informed whether their application is accepted or not and the accepted will be provided with a Unique Identification Number for further procedure. The rejected applicants will become ineligible. Since this procedure starts 6 months well in advance, certain details that can't be entered early can be added at the time of second stage of registration process. The details once entered during Basic Registration process would be stored.This Basic Registration is completely free of cost.

Final Stage of Registration

The second stage is Final stage of Registration. This specific stage provides a chance to complete data information like choosing exam centre, payment of fee etc. Already given data in Basic Registration need not be repeated here.

The applicants after doing Basic Registration can decide whether they should appear for this year exam or not. If they are not willing to appear, they need not go for the next stage which can be done later as final registration details entry for subsequent entrance exam is made every time. The applicants whose applications are complete in all respects and accepted at Basic Stage only will be permitted to make Final Registration.

Qualification for Basic Registration 

Plus Two passed/appeared/appearing or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

Course Eligibility

An aggregate of 60% of marks . For SC & ST 50% of marks, for OPH 45% of marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Plus Two exam and should fulfill other eligibility criteria as required in online Basic Registration.

Exam Schedule

The computer based exam will be conducted on 25th & 26th of May 2019. The timings of first and second shift for each day is from 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m and 3 p.m to 6.30 p.m respectively. The exam will be conducted in different cities in the country.

The AIIMS MBBS syllabus will cover 10+2(Plus Two) level Physics, Chemistry, Biology,GK and Aptitude & Logical thinking. The patter of the question paper is given below

State level Free Model Entrance Exam for Engineering & Medical

Silverbullet, an online portal of The Mathrubhumi is conducting a model entrance exam for the 12th Standard students(State,CBSE,ICSE) and repeaters. It is provided completely free of cost. The KEAM and NEET exam model is followed in the conduct of this exam.

Method of exam

The engineering entrance examination will be conducted in such a way as that of KEAM (Kerala Engg). There would be 2 question papers. The first one would comprise of 72 questions from Physics and 48 from Chemistry. The second paper would carry 120 questions from Mathematics subject. Each paper is of 2 ½ hour duration.

NEET ( Medical entrance ) model is adopted in the medical entrance exam. There would be one paper only. Questions from Physics. Chemistry, Botany and Zoology can be found. 45 questions will be there from each subject. The exam duration is 3 hours.

Date of exam

The students can appear for this free model entrance exam at any time and on any day between 1st and 31st of December 2018 with a personal computer or laptop or tablet or smart phone. As it is an online exam, an internet connection is required.

The results of the exam will be declared after 15th of January 2019. The score obtained in each subject and all Kerala ranking will be published along with the results. Hence , it would be helpful for the students to know their merits and defects so as to make their exam preparation more healthier and fruitful one.

There is no doubt that, this is a good opportunity for the students who are to appear for the entrance exam and for those who don’t have any special coaching. Those who are to write the exam in 2019, can compare their present performance with that of their peer group to understand their present or possible rank status. Accordingly, they can strengthen their preparation for a more stable performance.

പ്ലസ് ടു ക്കാർക്ക് മിലിട്ടറി നഴ്സിങ് സർവീസ് :അപേക്ഷ 2018 നവംബർ 30 വരെ

Various Military Medical colleges in our country invite applications for admission for a 4 year B.Sc Nursing course which is completely free of cost. After successful completion of the course, they will be permanently appointed as Commissioned Officers in Military Medical service.

Total number of seats for this course is 160. Applications can be sent online from 12th to 30th of November 2018. Unmarried women, divorcees and widows only can apply for this course.

Eligibility: 

Applicants willing to do this course must have passed regular plus two or equivalent course with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English. They should have obtained an aggregate score of minimum 50% in the first attempt itself. Students studying in the final year of the qualifying course or awaiting results also can apply and they should produce their pass certificate at the time of admission.

Age limit:

Date of Birth between 1st October 1994 and 30th September 2002.

Physical Standards:

Applicants should be physically fit as per military norms and their minimum height must be 148 cm and weight, 39 Kg. with good eye sight.

Selection: 

An objective type written test of 80 mts duration will be conducted in January 2019. It will be followed by an interview and Medical Fitness test in April.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-NEET

NEET 2019

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for the Higher Secondary students who aspire to hold a medical career. National Testing Agency(NTA) conducts the exam and publish the rank list. But admission to Post Graduate courses and M.B.B.S in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will not come under NEET. 

Eligibility for NEET 2019

Plus Two(10+2) passed out students or the students who are to appear in the exam of the present year(2019) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English as subjects of study in the group chosen by them. The percentage of marks for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology(PCB) group students who belong to General Category should be 50%, for the physically disabled 45% and for the SC / ST / OBC category, it is 40%. NEET 2019 Rank List

The State rank list will be prepared from the National rank list by choosing the deserving candidates for admission in Kerala. Admission in Kerala will be based on this. The candidates appearing for NEET 2019 should also submit online application to the Commissioner of Kerala Entrance Exam like those applying for Kerala Engineering Entrance.

NEET 2019 Syllabus and Pattern of Question

Success in NEET depends on the scoring rate in biology questions. Of the 180 questions, there will be 90 questions from biology and 45 questions each from physics and chemistry and the total marks will be 720.

The Syllabus of NEET(UG)-2019 will be exactly same as it was for NEET(UG), 2018. There is no change in the syllabus for NEET(UG)-2019.Students were allowed to write NEET examination in 11 languages including English and Hindi.

To apply NEET 2019,Log on to www.ntaneet.nic.in . Before submitting online application,download the information bulletin and read it carefully to understand the eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of NEET 2019 application online. 

NEET 2019 Fee Details

Rs.1400/- should be remitted towards application fee by the General/OBC category and it is Rs.750/- for the SC/ST and PH category for admission to NEET 2019 entrance examination.

NIFT Admission and Entrance Exam

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) a topmost institute in the country, giving scientific training in Fashion designing field, invites applications for various courses:-

Bachelor of Design (Fashion/leather/Textile/Knit wear/Accessory design: Fashion Communication)

Course duration is 4 years. Plus two or minimum 3 year Diploma course recognized by AICTE is the eligibility for doing this course.

Bachelor of Fashion Technology in Apparel Production ( B.F.Tech)

It is a 4 years duration course. Eligibility is Plus two course with Maths, Physics and Chemistry subjects or minimum 3 year Diploma course recognized by AICTE.

Master of Design ( M.Dis)

The duration of this course is 2 years. Applicants willing to do this course must have passed degree or 3 year Diploma course from NID or NIFT.

Master of Fashion Management ( M.F.M) 

The course period is 2 years. Degree or minimum 3 year Diploma course from NIFT or NID is the eligibility.

Master of Fashion Technology ( M.F.Tech) 

It is a 2 year duration course. NIFT B.Tech or any B.Tech course completed students can apply for this.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2019
